TOBOALI – Bupati Bangka Selatan, Riza Herdavid mengajak masyarakat untuk mengutamakan menjaga situasi dan kondisi daerah tetap aman, nyaman dan terkendali.
Dikatakanya, pemilihan pada 14 Februari 2024 adalah pesta demokrasi pemilu pilpres, pileg dan pilkada serentak akan digelar.
Banyak kebaikan didalamnya namun masyarakat diharapkan tidak berlebihan dalam merayakannya. Pemilihan pimpinan harus disikapi dengan bijaksana. Tidak gontok-gontokan dalam mendukung pilihannya.
“Kemenangan itu nomer sekian, siapapun yang jadi itu nomer sekian, tapi ada yang jauh lebih penting yang harus kita jaga yaitu aset terbesar kita berupa kesatuan, persatuan, persaudaraan dan kerukunan serta keguyuban masyarakat,” ujarnya kepada Mediaqu jaringan suarabangka, Senin (12/2/24).
Bupati berkeinginan, agar masyarakat Bangka Selatan berada dalam suasana hati yang tenang saat berlangsung proses pesta demokasi. Untuk itu, bupati berharap, masyarakat tetap menjaga kerukunan dan terus memupuk sikap toleransi.
“Sehingga semua tahapan dapat berjalan dengan baik dan persiapan pesta demokrasi juga berlangsung dalam suasana penuh kegembiraan sehingga kita bisa sama-sama datang ke TPS untuk memberikan suara kepada siapa yang layak untuk kita pilih,”pintanya.
Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Bangka Selatan, Erwin Asmadi mengajak warga Negeri Junjung Besaoh untuk tidak golput dan menggunakan hak pilihnya dengan datang ke tempat pemungutan suara (TPS) saat hari pencoblosan Pemilu 2024 pada 14 Februari mendatang.
“Saya mengajak semua warga Bangka Selatan untuk mencoblos capres, cawapres, DPR, DPRD Provinsi dan kota. Jangan golput,” kata Erwin.
Ia juga menekankan kepada para penyelenggara pemilu dan pilpres, terutama KPU dan Bawaslu agar bisa menjalankan tugas dengan sebaik-baiknya sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku.
Begitu juga dengan pihak keamanan harus terus berkoordinasi dengan pihak terkait, sehingga hal-hal yang bisa mengganggu keamanan dan menghambat proses tahapan pemilu, bisa diantisipasi lebih dini.
“Sebagai pimpinan DPRD, kami terus berkoordinasi dengan pihak penyelenggara dan keamanan, dengan harapan semua proses pemilu berjalan dengan baik,” pungkas Erwin Asmadi. (suf/mediaqu)
