MUNTOK – Penjabat Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Safrizal ZA mendatangi Pelabuhan Tanjung Kalian, Kabupaten Bangka Barat untuk memastikan kesiapan salah satu transportasi jalur laut menuju ke Sumatera Selatan pada Jumat (5/5/2024).
Setibanya dilokasi, dilakukan Rapat Koordinasi Lintas Sektoral Kesiapan Pelaksanaan Operasi Ketupat Menumbing tahun 2024 yang dihadiri Forkopimda Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, Forkopimda Kabupaten Babar bersama General Manager (GM) PT Angkutan Sungai Danau dan Penyeberangan (ASDP) Cabang Bangka, Ardhi Ekapaty.
GM Ardhi melaporkan bahwa terjadi penurunan jumlah penumpang, penumpang pejalan kaki turun hingga 45% dan penumpang dengan kendaraan turun sebanyak 46%. Meski demikian dirinya sudah melakukan berbagai bentuk antisipasi penumpukan penumpang dengan simulasi penggunaan 3 zona berbeda pada penumpang yang telah membeli e-tiket dan yang belum membeli e-tiket serta dengan penyediaan kapal kecil jika dibutuhkan.
“Kami sudah menambah jam armada hingga 1 hari bisa memberangkatkan 14 kapal yang beroperasi mulai jam 7 pagi hingga lebih dari 10 malam,” ungkapnya.
Tidak hanya itu, Kapolda Babel yang turut hadir dalam pertemuan mengingatkan pentingnya SOP keselamatan penumpang, penggunaan serta letak life jacket untuk mencegah hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan.
“Hari ini kami mengecek kesiapan proses pelabuhan ini berdasarkan hasil paparan dan simulasi, insyaAllah layanan di tahun 2024 ini akan lebih baik karena beberapa kelebihan persiapan dari tahun lalu,” ungkapnya.
Diakhir kunjungannya Pj Gubernur Safrizal menemui penumpang yang tengah menunggu kapal. Para penumpang ini mengaku lebih senang dengan pelayanan pelabuhan di tahun 2024 ini, karena mulai dari mengantri hingga masuk kapal berjalan tertib.
