NETRALITAS Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) sangat krusial dan wajib netral, imbauan ini disampaikan oleh Penjabat (Pj) Bupati Banyuasin, H. Hani Syopiar Rustam, SH dalam Seminar “Mengawal Netralitas PNS Dalam Membendung Hoax Pada Pemilu 2024 oleh Tribun Sumsel berlangsung di Hotel Harper Palembang, Selasa (14/11/2023).
Seminar dalam rangka menjaga netralitas ASN menjelang Pemilu 2024, ASN tidak diperkenankan menggunakan atribut kampanye, dilarang membuat konten bersama calon atau rekan pemilu yang akan dipilih dalam Pemilu nanti dan dilarang berfoto dengan rekan pemilu.
H. Hani S.Rustam menjelaskan bahwa ruang digital makin ketat perkembangannya maka perlu diantisipasi bersama agar pemilu 2024 adalah pemilu yang damai, memberikan ruang kebebasan berpendapat dan memilih dengan cara yang baik Pemilu 2024.
“Agenda kita semua dan merupakan pesta demokrasi yang riang dan gembira karena kita akan memilih wakil rakyat dan pemimpin di Negeri kita Indonesia. ASN harus menjaga netralitas, tidak terlibat dalam politik praktis,”ujar Hani.
“Di Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuasin, semua ASN telah saya memperingatkan agar menjaga netralitas dan jika ada yang terlibat dengan politik praktis, tidak segan-segan saya akan berikan sangsi kepada yang bersangkutan,”tegasnya.
Hal yang sama disampaikan oleh Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Sumatera Selatan, Dr. Drs. Agus Fatoni, M.Si menghimbau semua ASN yang ada di Sumatera Selatan harus netral sesuai dengan UU Nomor 5 Tahun 2014 tentang Aparatur Sipil Negara.
Dalam pasal 2 (dua) menyatakan setiap pegawai ASN harus patuh pada asas netralitas dengan tidak berpihak dari segala bentuk pengaruh manapun dan tidak memihak kepada kepentingan tertentu.
“Tinggal 3 bulan lagi Pemilu 2024 digelar, situasi dan dinamika politik di negeri ini juga makin dinamis. Setiap hari kita melihat gerakan-gerakan juga manuver-manuver politik. Sementara itu isu netralitas ASN dan PNS selalu menjadi sangat penting. ASN memiliki peran strategis dalam pelaksanaan pemerintahan di masa jelang pemilu, sehingga netralitasnya sangat diperlukan demi terciptanya pemilu yang kondusif,”papar A. Fatoni.
Agus Fatoni juga menambahkan bahwa Pemilu di Sumatera Selatan selama ini selalu “Zero Konflik” dan hal ini harus dipertahankan di Pemilu 2024.
Jaga etika bermain sosial media menjelang Pemilu 2024, tidak menunjukkan indikasi memihak salah satu calon.
Turut hadir Bupati Empat Lawang, Sekretaris Daerah Kota Pagaralam, Wadir Pemberitaan Tribun Network, Pimpinan Redaksi Sriwijaya Post dan Tribun Sumsel dan Direktur Sriwijaya Post (Diskominfo-SP/IKP).
