Kedatangan rombongan dari PT Timah Tbk ke kediaman Then untuk memberikan Kado Imlek dan tongkat.
Tongkat ini agar Then lebih leluasa dalam beraktivitas lantaran dia peyandang disabilitas yang mengalami tuna netra.
Then A Siu adalah satu dari tiga penerima tongkat yang diberikan PT Timah Tbk dalam momentum Imlek 2023 ini.
Tongkat ini sangat dibutuhkan Then A Siu untuk bisa beraktivitas sehari-hari sebagai penunjuk arah. Selama ini, saat beraktivitas Ia dituntun anak dan menantunya.
Selain itu, anggota Holding Pertambangan Indonesia MIND ID ini juga menyerahkan tongkat untuk Bun Asan.
Pria yang kerap disapa Koh Feng ini sudah lima tahun ini mengalami stroke yang dideritanya.
“Saya senang menerima bantuan tongkat dari PT Timah Tbk karena membantu saya untuk bergerak,” katanya sambil tersenyum.
Bantuan tongkat juga diberikan kepada Loe Sak Djioe warga Dusun 6 Desa Belo Laut yang merupakan tuna netra.
Menurutnya, dengan tongkat ini bisa memberikan harapan baru baginya untuk memudahkannya dalam beraktivitas.
“Semoga PT Timah Tbk terus maju, jaya selalu sehingga mampu membantu orang-orang seperti kami,” ucapnya.
Ketua Dusun 4 Desa Belo Laut, Eko mengapresiasi kepedulian PT Timah Tbk yang telah membantu warga di Dusun mereka.
“Dalam momen imlek ini, bantuan untuk warga Tionghoa di Dusun kami sangat membantu mereka. Apalagi besok mereka merayakan tahun baru imlek. Harapan kami agar PT Timah Tbk terus berjaya dan membantu warga desa Belo Laut,” tutup Eka. (*)
