JMSI Luncurkan Aplikasi SemuaNews

JAKARTA – Organisasi perusahaan pers, Jaringan Media Siber Indonesia (JMSI), meluncurkan aplikasi “SemuaNews” di Jaya Suprana School of Performing Arts, Mall of Indonesia (MoI), Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara, Minggu sore (30/7).

SemuaNews merupakan platform yang dibangun JMSI untuk mendukung upaya menciptakan ruang publik digital yang jauh dari hoax (kabar bohong) dan hate speech (ujaran kebencian).

Peluncuran SemuaNews dilakukan Ketua Umum JMSI Teguh Santosa, didampingi Ketua Dewan Pers Ninik Rahayu dan budayawan Jaya Suprana.

Peluncuran SemuaNews merupakan rangkaian dari peluncuran dua buku yang ditulis Teguh Santosa,

“Perdamaian yang Buruk, Perang yang Baik” dan “Buldozer dari Palestina” yang berisi kumpulan wawancara dengan sejumlah duta besar negara sahabat di Jakarta.

“Saya menggunakan kesempatan ini (peluncuran buku) untuk meluncurkan program kerja kami di JMSI. Program kami ini, kami beri nama aplikasi SemuaNews,” ujar Teguh.

Mantan anggota Dewan Kehormatan PWI Pusat ini menjelaskan, melalui SemuaNews, masyarakat pembaca akan mendapatkan informasi yang berasal dari media yang sudah terverifikasi, baik secara administrasi maupun faktual, dalam pendataan di Dewan Pers.

“Aplikasi ini tidak hanya untuk anggota JMSI saja, tetapi terbuka untuk semua media. Maka namanya SemuaNews. Untuk semua publishers, untuk semua audiences, untuk semua anak bangsa Indonesia,” kata Teguh.

Di tengah perkembangan dunia digital yang semakin pesat, masyarakat mendapatkan semua jenis informasi, baik yang benar, hoax, maupun hate speech. Di aplikasi Semua News, Teguh mengataan, pihaknya akan meminimalisir hal-hal negatif.

Sementara itu, Ketua Dewan Pers Ninik Rahayu memberikan apresiasi yang tinggi pada inisiatif JMSI. Dia mengatakan platform yang dikerjakan JMSI ini dapat menjadi altrnatif platform media

“Mungkin ini aplikasi seperti ini juga diinisiasi organisasi media lain. Terima kasih juga karena mengedepankan media yang sudah terverifikasi, artinya menjalankan UU 40/1999 tentang Pers,” kata Ninik.

Peluncuran SemuaNews dihadiri mantan Menko Perekonomian dan Menko Maritim DR. Rizal Ramli; Direktur Jenderal Amerika dan Eropa Kemenlu RI, Umar Hadi; Komisaris Independen PT Dirgantara Indonesia sekaligus mantan Duta Besar RI untuk Jepang, Yusron Ihza; dan mantan Walikota Medan Rahudman Harahap.

Selain itu, perwakilan negara sahabat untuk Indonesia yang hadir adalah Dubes Rusia Lyudmila G Vorobieva; Dubes Maroko Ouadia Benabdellah; Dubes Venezuela Radames Jesus Gomez Azuaje; Dubes Sudan Yassir Mohamed Ali; Charge d’affaires Afghanistan Qais Barakzai; dan Counselor Korea Utara So Kwang Yun.

Pimpinan JMSI di seluruh Indonesia yang baru menghadiri Rapat Pleno Diperluas sehari sebelumnya (Sabtu, 29/7) juga menghadiri peleuncuran SemuaNews. (JMSI)
