MEDAN – Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Kep. Babel), Ridwan Djamaluddin beserta sang Istri yang juga Pj. Ketua TP PKK Kep. Babel, Sri Utami Ridwan Djamaluddin menghadiri acara puncak Peringatan Hari Keluarga Nasional (Harganas) ke-29 di Lapangan Merdeka Medan, Kamis (7/7/2022). Acara ini dihadiri Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) beserta istri Iriana Joko Widodo.
Dalam pidatonya, Presiden Jokowi menegaskan bahwa jangan ada lahan kosong, gunakan untuk memproduksi kebutuhan pangan sehari-hari guna meningkatkan asupan gizi anak-anak.
“Jaga kesehatan lingkungan baik di dalam keluarga maupun di lingkungan sekitar keluarga. Saya yakin jika keluarga dan masyarakat kita bergerak bersama mendukung program penurunan stunting yang dilakukan pemerintah saat ini, maka upaya pemerintah pusat dan pemerintah provinsi tersebut akan cepat membuahkan hasil,” kata Presiden Jokowi.
Presiden Jokowi juga optimis jika di tahun 2024, angka stunting bisa turun menjadi 14%. Dirinya percaya bahwa keluarga adalah pilar kesejahteraan bangsa dimana keluarga merupakan ekosistem pertama dan utama dalam mengasuh, mendidik, serta membentuk manusia yang sehat, manusia yang bergizi, dan manusia yang berkualitas.
“Selamat memperingati Hari Keluarga Nasional ke-29, majulah keluarga Indonesia,” terang presiden.
Menanggapi pidato orang nomor satu di Indonesia tersebut, Pj. Gubernur Ridwan mengatakan bahwa inti pesan dari presiden dalam acara ini yang pertama adalah, harus memperkuat pilar keluarga sebagai pilar utama pembangunan.
“Selain itu, kita harus mengurangi stunting dengan cara memberikan asupan tambahan. Kemudian, kita upayakan ketahanan pangan dan ketahanan energi. Ketahanan pangan yang dimaksud adalah kita harus mulai menanami lahan-lahan yang tersedia, beternak, serta memanfaatkan lahan di halaman rumah masing-masing,” ungkap Pj. Gubernur Ridwan.
Pada kesempatan ini juga, dilakukan penyerahan United Nation Population Award 2022 dari United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) _Representative Indonesia kepada Kepala BKKBN pusat yang disaksikan oleh Presiden RI, juga penyerahan penghargaan atas inovasi program penurunan stunting di kota Medan dari kepala BKKBN ke Wali Kota Medan, penyerahan simbolis Manggala Karya Kencana dari kepala BKKBN kepada Gubernur Sumatera Utara dan Wali Kota Medan, serta Satya Lencana Pembangunan dan Satya Lencana Wira Karya dari Presiden RI.
