PANGKALPINANG – Seorang warga binaan yang menghuni Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Kelas II B Bukit Semut Sungailiat, Kabupaten Bangka mengalami buta permanen akibat dianiaya sipir penjara secara biadab.
Sang Ibu, Ernita Simanjuntak mengadukan kondisi anaknya mengalami cacat pada matanya kepada Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Kep. Babel) Suganda Pandapotan Pasaribu disela-sela Audiensi dengan Jemaat HKBP Sungailiat di Rumah Dinas Gubernur, Selasa (20/6).
Dituturkan Ernita bahwa penganiayaan yang dialami oleh anaknya yang bernama Renhad Hutahaean itu berlangsung pada tahun 2018 saat menjalani hukuman sebagai warga binaan, dimana pelaku penganiayan adalah oknum pegawai Lapas Bukit Semut.
Hal itu diperparah setelah mengalamai penganiayaan, Ernita mengatakan dirinya dihalangi untuk menemui anaknya dengan dalih Renhad sedang berada dalam sel isolasi karena terlibat masalah dengan napi lain.
“Akhirnya setelah 40 hari baru saya bisa menemui anak saya, ternyata saraf matanya itu sudah putus karena tidak diobati sama sekali,” jelasnya.
Hingga akhrinya, selama lima tahun belakangan, dirinya terus berupaya mencari keadilan dengan mengadukan persoalan berat yang dialami putranya. Anehnya, dikatakannya penegakan hukum masih dinilai tajam ke bawah, tumpul ke atas.
“Meskipun akhirnya oknum itu sudah dihukum, tapi yang terpenting bagaimana masa depan anak saya kedepan,” ujarnya.
“Saya mau temui langsung Pak Presiden. Saya mau sampaikan langsung,” harap Ernita.
Pj Gubernur Suganda berang setelah mendengar ada masyarakatnya diperlakukan seperti itu. Dirinya langsung berinisiatif menghubungi kerabatnya yang berprofesi sebagai pengacara untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut.
Ia memastikan akan membantu warganya untuk mendapatkan keadilan. Menurutnya meskipun oknum sipir telah dihukum namun keadilan utamanya adalah bagaimana masa depan anak itu ke depan.
“Nanti kita coba carikan solusi, bagaimana yang bersangkutan hak-haknya bisa dipulihkan kembali,” pungkasnya.
Disamping menyampaikan hal tersebut, para jemaat HKBP Sungailiat juga bersilaturahmi dan berdiskusi santai dengan Pj Gubernur Suganda seputar membangun Babel kedepan yang lebih baik dan modern. (***)
