SEBAGIAN perempuan melakoni peran ganda. Sebagai ibu dan istri di rumah dan pekerja di luar rumah. Sehingga perempuan kerap dituntut lincah untuk melaksanakan ke dua peran tersebut dalam waktu bersamaan.
Menyelaraskan kedua peran ini bukanlah perkara gampang. Butuh konsep utuh dan kematangan jiwa. Namun, tak sedikit pula yang berhasil melakoninya. Buktinya dua wanita hebat yang kini menduduki posisi penting di jajaran Direksi PT Timah Tbk.
Bisa menjadi wanita mandiri dan memiliki karir yang cemerlang menjadi impian bagi perempuan. Namun, dalam praktiknya tak selalu berjalan dengan mulus. Peran ganda yang dijalankan ini memberikan tantangan yang harus ditaklukkan agar semuanya berjalan beriringan.
Meski berperan sebagai seorang ibu, tak menjadi penghalang untuk berkarir dan berkontribusi lebih besar bagi banyak orang. Hal itulah yang ditunjukkan dua perempuan tangguh yang duduk sebagai jajaran Direksi PT Timah Tbk, yakni Direktur SDM PT Timah Tbk, Yennita dan Direktur Keuangan dan Manajemen Risiko PT Timah Tbk Fina Eliani.
Yennita dan Fina Eliani kompak mengatakan bahwa Ibu adalah Sekolah atau Madrasah pertama bagi anak-anaknya. Hal ini disampaikan mereka saat oborolan tentang Hari Ibu yang diperingati pada 22 Desember.
Kedua wanita tangguh ini juga sepakat soal Ibu merupakan sosok yang mempengaruhi karakter anak. Mereka bahkan menyebutkan keberhasilan saat ini tak lepas dari peran Ibu mereka yang menjadi support system.
Kini, dua wanita ini juga telah menjadi Ibu, Yennita memiliki dua buah hati dan Fina Eliani memiliki tiga putri. Bagi mereka menjalankan peran ganda memang tak selalu mudah tapi bisa dijalani dengan penuh makna.
“Ibu itu adalah madrasah pertama di keluarga, berperan sebagai support awal untuk anak-anaknya. Mungkin sebagian besar karakter anak itu dibentuk oleh seorang ibu,” kata Yennita saat membuka perbicangan.
Hal inipun terucap dari Direktur Keuangan dan Manajemen Risiko PT Timah Tbk, Fina Eliani yang mengatakan “Ibu adalah sekolah pertama bagi anak-anak. Karakter seorang anak mungkin 90 persen berasal dari ibunya, karena sejak kandungan sudah bersama dengan ibunya,” ucap Fina.
Yennita melanjutkan ceritanya, sebagai anak tengah dari saudara-saudaranya, Ia diajarkan untuk mandiri dan bertanggungjawab oleh sang Ibu. Nilai-nilai inilah yang lambat laun menjadi karakternya.
“Ibu saya sangat percaya dengan saya sebagai anak tengah yang bisa mandiri dan bertanggungjawab, beliau sangat positif dan merangkul. Hal inilah yang mempengaruhi cara saya berpikir dan bekerja karena ibu adalah madarasah pertama bagi anak-anaknya,” kata Yennita.
Sebagai seorang Ibu pun, dirinya lebih banyak memberikan contoh dalam proses parenting yang dijalankan. Kata Yennita mendidik anak adalah proses perjalanan panjang dan tak pernah berhenti.
“Kita mengajarkan dengan memberikan contoh, bukan dengan mendikte,” ucapnya.
Menjadi ibu, bagi Yennita adalah anugerah karena seorang Ibu dibekali dengan kemampuan multi tasking. Sebagai seorang Ibu yang juga bekerja, Yennita menyebutkan tantangannya ialah saat anak-anak masih kecil dan dirinya juga harus mulai meniti karir.
Sebagai pekerja, Yennita menyebutkan tak jarang Ia harus bertugas ke Pulau Daerah, hal inilah yang membuat Ia harus memboyong buah hatinya agar bisa terus disampingnya.
“Chalangenya itu waktu anak-anak masih kecil, karena menurut saya anak-anak yang usianya di bawah 10 tahun harus dekat sama ibunya untuk mendapatkan nilai-nilai kasih sayang, sedangkan di atas itu Ia harus dekat dengan ayah agar mendapatkan nilai-nilai keberanian,” ucapnya.
Yennita membagikan pengalaman yang membuat Ia harus berjauhan dengan keluarganya saat Pandemi Covid-19. Dirinya yang ditugaskan di Luar Pulau Bangka baru pertama kalinya merayakan lebaran yang terpisah dengan keluarga kecilnya.
“Saya sendirian waktu itu Jakarta, keluarga ada yang di Jakarta dan di Palembang. Jadi kita lebaran hanya via zoom. Sebagai ibu ya meski di luar terlihat tegar tapi ya tetap saja di dalamnya kadang melow namanya juga seorang ibu,” ceritanya.
Kendati demikian, Yennita mengajak para perempuan meski sudah menyandang status ibu tetap bisa berkarya. Memberikan kontribusi terbaik dan menjalankan peran sebagai Ibu dengan bermakna.
“Menjadi Ibu itu anugerah bukan menjadi hambatan untuk bisa berkontribusi maksimal di perusahaan, selalu kita harus positif, percaya diri, terus menerus belajar meningkatkan kompetensi kita agar bisa memantaskan diri kita,” pesannya.
Pengalaman menjadi Ibu juga diceritakan oleh Fina Eliani, baginya Ibu adalah sosok istimewa yang penuh dengan cinta dalam merawat, mendidik dan menjaga anak-anaknya.
“Jadi ibu itu spesial. Betul seperti lagu Kasih Ibu, Memberi tak harap kembali. Karena Ibu memberikan cinta yang paling murni, betul-betul memberi tak harap kembali,” kata Fina.
Fina belajar banyak dari sosok Ibunya yang saat ini turut memengaruhi karakternya seperti ketegaran, ketulusan, dan kesabarannya.
“Ibu saya adalah wanita sederhana yang harus mengurus enam orang anaknya, tapi tidak pernah mengeluh dan tidak pernah berprsangka buruk kepada orang lain,” ucapnya.
Fina menyebutkan menjadi ibu rumah tangga ataupun ibu bekerja sama hebatnya. Keduanya, memiliki tugas yang tidak mudah. Namun, ketika perempuan bisa menjadi ibu rumah tangga juga sebagai pekerja merupakan sebuat previllage.
“Ada ibu rumah tangga, ada ibu rumah tangga dan juga berkarir. Ada juga seorang wanita yang punya kesempatan tapi memilih untuk menjadi ibu rumah tangga, menurut itu sangat mulia dan bukan pekerjaan yang mudah.
Namun ketika seorang wanita memilih menjadi wanita berkarya sekaligus ibu rumah tangga itu previllage, karena tidak semua perempuan mendapatkan kesempatan yang sama,” ucapnya.
Meski, kata Fina menjalani dua hal ini bersamaan memang tak mudah, apalagi saat ini anak-anaknya masih kecil-kecil. Manajemen waktu menjadi hal yang sangat penting dilakukan agar pekerjaan dan anak-anaknya mendapatkan porsi yang sama.
“Kebetulan anak saya masih kecil-kecil dan sangat membutuhkan perhatian saya. Saya harus menajemen waktu dengan baik. Saya tau kapan prioritas saya untuk keluarga dan kapan prioritas saya untuk pekerjaan,” kata dia.
Fina menyebutkan, wanita pekerja membutuhkan support system dari pasangan dan keluarga. Sehingga peran mendidik dan merawat anak-anak tidak hanya dilimpahkan pada Ibu, tapi semuanya berperan untuk saling mendukung.
Fina membagi tips, bagi seorang Ibu dan juga pekerja untuk terus belajar tentang parenting. Karena dengan begitu, akan semakin mengetahui pola pengasuhan.
“Wanita bekerja jangan khawatir meskipun waktu terbatas untuk anak-anak.
Tapi ketika memiliki pola pengasuhan dan waktu semaksimal mungkin kita kualitas untuk anak, anak akan lebih dekat dengan kita. Kita tau kapan memprioritaskan pekerjaan dan kapan mempriorotaskan keluarga,” ucapnya.
“Menjadi wanita berkarir sekaligus ibu rumah tangga itu menurut saya tidak mudah. Kita perlu multi tasking, tetap harus fokus, menikmati ke dua peran tersebut. Dapat support dari pasangan dan yang terpenting jangan lupa memberi ruang untuk diri sendiri, kamu bukan hanya seorang ibu, bukan cuma seorang pekerja, tapi kamu juga dirimu sendiri,” pesannya.
Jangan Lupakan Me Time
Menjalani peran ganda memang tak mudah, terkadang perempuan yang berperan sebagai seorang Ibu dan juga pekerja juga harus bisa menjaga keseimbangan hidupnya.
Direktur Keuangan dan Manajemen Risiko PT Timah Tbk, Fina Eliani mengatakan jangan lupa untuk memberi ruang untuk diri sendiri dalam menjalankan peran sebagai seorang ibu dan juga pekerja.
“Memberikan ruang bagi diri sendiri itu penting, karena perempuan bukan hanya ibu, istri maupun pekerja tapi juga dirinya sendiri,” ucap Fina.
Ia sendiri harus meluangkan waktu untuk dirinya sendiri agar tetap rileks, misalnya menjalankan hobi atau melakukan hal-hal yang disukai.
“Kalau saya cenderung melakukan hal-hal yang saya sukai, misalnya perawatan diri atau yang lainnya,” ucapnya.
Hal senada juga diungkapkan Direktur SDM PT Timah Tbk, Yennita menyebutkan setiap manusia memerlukan waktunya untuk menjadi diri sendiri.
“Me Time bisa juga kita bersosilaisai dengan rekan-rekan di luar kantor, menjaga supaya tetap balance kita harus berolahraga,” ucapnya.
Tak kalah pentingnya, perempuan harus terus menerus belajar, karena ilmu berkembang dengan cepat. Dengan belajar perempuan juga semakin berdaya dan memiliki banyak kesempatan.
“Kita harus terus menerus belajar karena itu adalah cara kita memantaskan diri. Selamat Hari Ibu 2022, menjadi Ibu Hebat yang penuh Cinta,” ucapnya. (*)
