Konkret Dorong Kemajuan Sepak Bola, Prabowo Fokus Bina Telenta Muda Indonesia 

JAKARTA – Pengamat sepak bola nasional Kesit Budi Handoyo menyambut positif kepedulian Prabowo Subianto terhadap pemain muda. Kepedulian ini ditunjukkan Prabowo setelah membuka perhelatan turnamen Nusantara Cup di Lapangan Kompleks Garudayaksa Football Academy, Cileungsi, Kabupaten Bogor, Kamis (14/12/2023).

Nusantara Cup digelar Garudayaksa bekerja sama dengan PT LIB dan didukung penuh oleh Ketua Umum PSSI Erick Thohir dan Menpora Dito Ariotedjo. Turnamen ini akan berlangsung pada 14-21 Desember 2023.

Menurut Kesit, kepedulian Prabowo yang juga Ketua Dewan Pembina Akademi Sepak Bola Garudayaksa itu sebagai langkah konkret dalam mendorong kemajuan sepak bola. Sebab, tidak hanya sebatas mengembangkan talenta muda berbakat pada turnamen U-17 Nusantara Open, tetapi juga membangun infrastruktur sepak bola yang canggih dan modern.

“Ide sangat bagus dari Pak Prabowo yang langsung diwujudkan dalam bentuk infrastruktur berupa fasilitas lapangan berstandar internasional,” kata Kesit saat dihubungi, Jumat (15/13).

“Terkait turnamen Nusantara Open ini juga sangat positif untuk merangsang pihak lain untuk ikut serta berkontribusi dalam pengembangan sepakbola Indonesia, khususnya dalam membangun kompetisi usia muda, yang berkesinambungan,” sambungnya.

Lewat Nusantara Open ini, Kesit berharap ke depannya turnamen-turnamen kelompok umur lebih banyak digelar sehingga ini bisa menjadi investasi besar untuk sepak bola Indonesia.

Hal itu dapat memacu lahirnya bintang-bintang lapangan hijau yang kelak membela tim nasional Indonesia di masa mendatang.

Bahkan, Kesit menyarankan agar Akademi Garudayaksa dijadikan sebagai contoh bagi Persatuan Sepakbola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI), terutama soal infrastruktur sekelas akademi sepak bola.

“Harapan ke depan tentunya akan hadir pemain-pemain yang bisa diandalkan untuk tim nasional Indonesia. komplek Garudayaksa bisa dijadikan pilot project. Fasilitas seperti ini harus lebih banyak dibangun di Indonesia,” ucapnya.

Senada dengan Kesit, pengamat sepak bola lainnya Sigit Nugroho mengaku kagum dengan langkah Prabowo Subianto membangun sepak bola Indonesia lewat Akademi Garudayaksa. Apalagi, Prabowo membangun infrastruktur (lapangan) dan tipe lapangan tersebut sangat baik.

“Pertama saya respek terhadap Pak Prabowo dan juga orang-orang yang berada di balik kegiatan itu, Pak Menteri berbagai macam menteri yang ada di situ kan. Kontribusinya untuk sepak bola tanah air saya pikir cukup signifikan, karena tujuh lapangan itu di Indonesia yang baru ada hanya di Sapin, Pati Jawa Tengah, ini yang kedua ini kemungkinan bakal lebih besar karena dananya, Kalau dari Sapin dananya dari Pak Saiful Arifin,” jelasnya.

Dikatakan Sigit, Prabowo yang juga calon presiden nomor urut 2 itu memastikan para peserta yang lolos dalam turnamen Nusantara Open ini akan disiapkan mengikuti pelatihan ke Qatar, tepat di Aspire Academy yang menjadi salah satu akademi sepak bola terbaik di dunia.

“Kita semua tahu kelemahan Timnas kita minimnya jumlah pertandingan atau kompetisi, paling yang dilakukan saat ini seperti tim U-17 kemarin keliling Eropa hanya untuk uji coba-uji coba tapi tidak dibangun dalam sebuah kompetisi yang kuat,” tutupnya.

Sebelumnya, Ketua Dewan Pembina Akademi Sepakbola Garudayaksa Prabowo Subianto meresmikan pembukaan turnamen sepak bola U-17 Nusantara Open di Gelanggang Akademi Sepak Bola Garudayaksa di Bekasi, Jawa Barat pada Kamis, 14 Desember 2023.

Turnamen ini merupakan yang kedua kalinya digelar dan digagas langsung oleh Prabowo. Kali ini diikuti oleh 16 tim, terdiri dari 11 tim Elite Pro Academy (EPA) dan 5 akademi sepak bola. Nusantara Open 2023 ini akan berlangsung hingga 21 Desember.

“Bertanding dengan baik, bertanding dengan gembira, bertanding seperti ksatria. Jangan jadi bangsa yang lemah, jangan jadi bangsa yang menyerah sebelum bertanding,” kata Prabowo yang dikutip dari keterangan tertulis, Kamis (14/12).

Prabowo berharap Garudayaksa Football Academy berkontribusi dalam kemajuan sepak bola nasional. Dia berharap lewat akademi itu lahir bibit pesepakbola handal level internasional.

“Saya harapkan akademi ini dapat menjadi salah satu pusat pelatihan bibit-bibit pesepakbola yang handal di Tanah Air yang nantinya akan membawa Tim Nasional Indonesia ke Piala Dunia,” tutur Prabowo. (***)
