TANJUNGPANDAN – Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel), Suganda Pandapotan Pasaribu memastikan stok beras di Kabupaten Belitung aman hingga akhir tahun.
Demikian disampaikannya usai melakukan Inspeksi Mendadak (Sidak) ke sejumlah distributor beras dan pasar tradisional di Kabupaten Belitung, pada Sabtu (14/10/23).
“Setelah dicek, kami pastikan stok beras di sini (Kabupaten Belitung) cukup hingga akhir tahun, sehingga masyarakat tidak perlu panik,” ungkap Pj Gubernur Suganda.
Menurut dia, sidak yang dilakukan itu, merupakan tindaklanjut dari hasil rapat Koordinasi Tim Pengendalian Inflasi Daerah (TPID) sehari sebelumnya.
Selain itu, kata Pj Gubernur Suganda, sidak yang dilakukan bersama TPID itu, merupakan upaya pemerintah daerah guna mengetahui harga dan stok pangan.
“Kehadiran kami bersama tim TPID untuk memastikan stok pangan di Kabupaten Belitung tercukupi,” ujarnya.
Hal itu, lanjut Pj Gubernur Suganda, dilakukan supaya tidak berdampak terhadap inflasi dan kemampuan daya beli masyarakat.
Lebih lanjut, Pj Gubernur Suganda berpesan kepada sejumlah distributor, untuk tetap mendistribusikan beras secara normal kepada masyarakat Kabupaten Belitung.
“Jangan ada penimbunan yang menimbulkan gejolak harga,” imbaunya.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Pj Gubernur Suganda memberikan Surat Edaran terkait harga komoditi beras di Kepulauan Babel, di mana harga jual beras premium untuk Pulau Bangka sebesar Rp 14.100 per kilogram dan Pulau Belitung 14.400 rupiah per kilogram.
Sementara, lanjutnya, untuk beras medium di Pulau Bangka dibanderol Rp 13.300 rupiah per kg, dan beras medium untuk Pulau Belitung Rp 13.100 per kilogram.
“Kami perlu bantuan dari semua pihak karena inflasi kita tertinggi. Untuk harga jual ke konsumen, baik itu beras premium maupun medium, bisa ditambah sebesar Rp 500 per kilogram. Jadi saya minta kepada para distributor, untuk menjual harga sesai Harga Eceran Tertinggi (HET),” jelasnya.
Lebih lanjut ia juga mengajak masyarakat untuk membeli beras dari Bulog. Ia menyebut Bulog telah memproses dan memproduksi beras tersebut dalam skala besar dengan teknologi tinggi menggunakan mesin-mesin canggih.
“Jadi, masyarakat tak perlu ragu. Mari gunakan beras Bulog ini untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari,” ajaknya.
Diketahui, sidak tersebut diawali dengan mendatangi sejumlah distributor beras, diantaranya UD Mawar Jaya Belitung dan CV Arista. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan mengunjungi pasar Tradisional Tanjung Pandan untuk memantau fluktuasi harga beras. Kemudian, Pj Gubernur Suganda bersama TPID menuju ke gudang Bulog, untuk memastikan ketersediaan beras.
Selain memantau stok beras di Kabupaten Belitung, Pj Gubernur Suganda yang didampingi Forkopimda Babel, Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Belitung, Forkopimda Belitung, dan instansi vertikal, juga mengecek cold storage milik CV Indo Pacific.
Di mana cold storage tersebut dapat menampung hasil produksi perikanan dan memperpanjang usia kesegaran ikan, sehingga harga ikan tak terjadi kenaikkan yang kemudian akan memicu inflasi. (***)
