KOBA – Cahya Nurul Azmi (21) warga Dusun Kedimpel, Desa Baskara Bakti, Kecamatan Namang, tak pernah menyangka akan mendapatkan bantuan pengobatan tumor payudara begitu cepat dari PT Timah Tbk. Sebelumnya, biaya pengobatan Cahya dibantu oleh keluarga, namun biaya yang dibutuhkan memang tak sedikit.
“Biaya Pengobatan sebelumnya dibantu keluarga itu belum cukup. Saya hanya bisa pasrah menunggu bantuan dari PT Timah. Saya juga tidak menyangka jika akan dibantu oleh PT Timah, Selain itu responnya pun sangat cepat sekali,” kata Cahaya.
Cahya menceritakan semula dirinya baru menyadari mengalami tumor saat bangun tidur, menemukan benjolan di payudaranya. Namun, dibiarkannya begitu saja karena tidak sakit.
“Awalnya saya bangun tidur ada benjolan, Namun lambat laun benjolan itu semakin besar, selain itu juga nyerinya sampai ke punggung. Apabila saya mengkonsumsi makanan seprti ikan yang banyak mengandung duri, serta bekerja terlalu letih, maka rasa nyeri itu akan terasa,” ungkapnya.
Akhirnya, Ia memutuskan untuk melakukan pengobatan, sehingga saat dilakukan USG dokter menyarankan untuk dirinya untuk dioperasi. Namun, karena rasa takut sehingga Ia enggan untuk melakukan operasi dan mencoba pengobatan alternatif.
“Tapi setelah kondisi benjolan tersebut semakin membesar dan nyerinya semakin parah barulah saya putuskan untuk dilakukan tindakan operasi.
Alhamdullilah, rasa sakit itu sudah mulai berkurang dan saat ini masih dalam tahapan kontrol. Untuk memastikan jika tumor tersebut benar – benar sudah tidak ada atau sudah mati,” ujarnya.
Ia mengapresiasi PT Timah Tbk yang telah membantu biaya pengobatannya, bantuan ini akan digunakan untuk mendukung pengobatannya seperti kontrol dan lainnya.
“Terimakasih PT Timah telah membantu biaya pengobatan saya. Alhamdullilah sangat terbantu sekali dengan adanya bantuan ini, karena dengan adanya bantuan ini tentu sangat meringankan kami untuk biaya kontrol, rawat jalan dan juga pembelian obat,” ujar Cahya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Desa Baskara Bakti Bahtiar Effendi mengapresiasi PT Timah Tbk dalam membantu masyarakat.
“Dengan cepat PT Timah merespon pengajuan kami, dan tidak bertele-tele. Sungguh ini sebuah responsif yang luar biasa dari PT Timah bagi kami bantuan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi warga yang sedang membutuhkan,” ungkapnya.
Lebih lanjut, Bahtiar menyebutkan beragam program CSR PT Timah Tbk telah banyak membantu masyarakat mereka seperti bantuan rumah tinggal layak huni, hewan kurban dan lainnya .
“Kami berharap program – program dari PT Timah seperti ini dapat terus berjalan, agar dapat terus membantu masyarakat yang membutuhkan. Serta dapat terus dekat dengan masyarakat yang benar-benar membutuhkan bantuan dari PT Timah,” ungkapnya. (*)
