PANGKALPINANG – Sebanyak tiga wartawan di Pangkalpinang, melapor ke Polresta Pangkalpinang. Mereka melaporkan tindakan intimidasi dari oknum sekuriti yang diterima saat tengah meliput ambrolnya plafon Transmart Pangkalpinang, Senin siang (19/6/2023).
Wartawan mengaku mendapat intimidasi secara verbal dari oknum yang mengaku sebagai sekuriti, seperti dilarang meliput, digiring keluar lokasi kejadian dan foto serta video yang sebelumnya sempat direkam diminta dihapus.
Kejadian ini bermula ketika 3 wartawan yaitu Eji Andino Dika (TVRI), Rama Nuasa (HeloBerita) dan Arya Ramandanu (Laspela) mendatangi Transmart Pangkalpinang di Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, sekitar Pukul 13.38 WIB.
“Kami bertiga dapat informasi ada plafon ambruk akibat jebolnya saluran air di transmart lantai atas. Kedua rekan saya Eji dan Rama sudah sampai duluan,” kata Arya, Senin sore di Mapolresta Pangkalpinang.
Arya menuturkan, dua rekannya masuk gedung bersamaan pihak Polsek Gerunggang. Dia pun lantas meminta izin masuk ke satpam.
“Saya datang telat. Lalu saya minta izin ke satpam untuk ambil gambar ke areal dalam atau lokasi ambruknya plafon, namun tidak dikasih. Saya disuruh nunggu di lobi,” bebernya.
Tak berselang lama Eji dan Rama tampak keluar didampingi satpam.
“Keduanya mengambil gambar seperti biasa. Lalu digiring oleh satpam untuk keluar. Setelah keluar kita terlibat perdebatan. Mereka (Satpam) meminta mengecek hanphone Eji agar menunjukan hasil rekaman dan menghapus video dengan nada tinggi,” ujar Arya.
“Awalnya kami tidak di kasih. Terus kami minta syarat boleh dihapus tapi dengan syarat meminta bertemu dengan atasan atau yang berwenang memintai keterangan,” sambungnya.
Permintaan mereka tidak digubris oknum satpam dan tetap minta foto atsu video dihapus. Karena merasa dipaksa dan terintimidasi, Eji pemilik video menyerahkan hanphone miliknya ke oknum Satpam.
“Handphone di kasih sama Eji, lalu satpam itu menghapus seluruh video. Satpam meminta agar mereka (wartawan) tidak meminta konfirmasi kepada pihak Transmart hingga mereka memberikan klarifikasi sendiri atas insiden yang terjadi,” kata Arya.
Atas kejadian tersebut ketiga wartawan melaporkan kasus itu ke Mapolresta Pangkalpinang.
Sementara Ketua Ikatan Jurnalis Televisi Indonesia (IJTI) Pengda Babel, Joko Setyawanto yang turut mendampingi pelapor menjelaskan kejadian menghalangi kerja-kerja jurnalistik seperti ini seharusnya tidak terjadi lagi di tengah era digital ini.
“Kok primitif sekali pola, segala sesuatu harus dengan kekerasan, intimidasi, atau persekusi. Kerja jurnalistik ada koridornya, ada payung hukumnya berupa UU nomor 40 tahun 1999 tentang pers,” kata Joko.
Joko berharap agar kepolisian dapat menyelesaikan perkara ini agar tidak menjadi preseden buruk bagi kemerdekaan pers di tanah air.
