PANGKALPINANG – Thorium FC menjuarai Kompetisi Futsal PWI Bangka Belitung tahun 2023 setelah pada laga final berhasil menang tipis 5-4 atas GWK FC lewat drama adu penalti.
Laga final Thorium FC VS GWK berlangsung di GOR Depati Bahrin Kacang Pedang, Pangkalpinang di, Sabtu (11/3/2023), malam, berlangsung ketat.
Thorium FC mendominasi jalannya pertandingan sejak menit awal wasit meniup Pluit tanda dimulainya pertandingan. Meski mendominasi pertandingan namun Thorium FC kesulitan membongkar pertahanan GWK FC.
Barulah di pertengahan babak pertama Thorium FC mampu memecah kebuntuan dengan mengubah papan skor menjadi 1-0. Namun, hasil ini tak bertahan lama karena GWK FC mampu menyamakan kedudukan menjadi 1-1.
Dibabak kedua Thorium FC kembali unggul 2-1, namun di penghujung babak ke dua GWK FC kembali menyamakan kedudukan menjadi 2-2.
Pertandingan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan adu penalti. Dalam adu pinalti Thorium FC unggul 5-4 atas GWK FC.
Sementara diposisi ketiga diraih oleh Sobat Crocodile berhasil mengalahkan Meong FC.
Sebagai juara Kompetisi Futsal PWI Bangka Belitung, Thorium FC berhak meraih uang tunai Rp 12 juta. Sementara GWK FC sebagai runer up meraih uang tunai Rp 7 juta.
Ditempat ketiga Sobat Crocodile bersih atas uang tunai RP 4 juta dan Meong FC ditempat keempat meraih RP 2 juta. Selain uang tunai para juara juga mendapatkan piala serta medali bagi pemain dan tim official. Pemain terbaik Fedra dan Top score Febrian Alpiandrio yang masing masing mendapatkan uang tunai Rp 500 ribu.
Kegiatan Kompetisi Futsal PWI Bangka Belitung dalam rangka Hari Pers Nasional 2023 bekerjasama dengan Polda Babel. Kegiatan ini resmi ditutup oleh Kabid Humas Polda Bangka Belitung AKBP Jojo Sutarjo mewakili Kapolda Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Irjen Pol Yan Sultra Indrajaya.
“Polda Kepulauan Bangka Belitung akan mendukung setiap kegiatan positif seperti kompetisi futsal yang digelar oleh PWI Bangka Belitung. Terimakasih kepada tim tim yang ikut kompetisi dan bermain dengan menjunjung sportivitas,” kata AKBP Jojo Sutarjo.
