PANGKALPINANG – Pengurus Provinsi (Pengprov) Persatuan Drum Band Indon(PDBI) Bangka Belitung (Babel) menggelar usyawarah Provinsi (Musprov) pada awal tahun 2023, Jumat kemarin (20/1/2023).
Musprov dengan agenda pemilihan ketua baru ini, kembali mempercayai M Haris untuk melanjutkan kepemimpinam PDBI Babel untuk periode 2022-2026. Kepala Badan Keuangan Daerah (Bakuda) ini terpilih secara aklamasi.
Hadir dalam Musprov PDBI Babel 2023 yang mengangkat tema “Konsolidasi Menuju Prestasi” ini perwakilan Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Babel, serta para pengurus PDBI Babel.
Dalam sambutannya, M Haris menyampaikan rasa terima kasihnya kepada seluruh jajaran PDBI Babel yang telah mempercayai kembali memimpin PDBI Babel periode 2022-2026. “Terima kasih atas kepercayaan ini, dan mohon dukungannya,” kata Haris.
Haris juga bertekad untuk mengangkat prestasi drumband sebagai salah satu cabang olahraga (cabor) yang kini dinaungi KONI. Salah satunya dengan mengaktifkan kembali drumband di Negeri Serumpun Sebalai.
“Setelah pelantikan, kita akan melaksanakan Rakerprov (rapat kerja provinsi) untuk mempersiapkan program kerja ke depan baik program jangka pendek, menengah hinggga program jangka panjang,” ungkap Ketua Ikatan Keluarga Alumni Pendidikan Tinggi Kepamongprajaan (IKAPTK) ini
Disamping itu, PDBI Babel juga akan mensosialisasikan kepada masyarakat luas bahwa drumband atau marching band untuk saat ini selain bagian dari seni musik juga merupakan cabor yang sudah berada di bawah naungan KONI.
“Dan menjadi ajang yang diperlombakan baik daerah, nasional bahkan internasional,” imbuhnya. (*)
