PANGKALPINANG – Komitmen dan peran pemerintah daerah dalam Konvergensi Percepatan Penurunan Stunting di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel), ditunjukkan dengan Kegiatan Rekonsiliasi sekaligus Pengukuhan Tim Percepatan Penurunan Stunting (TPPS) Provinsi Babel, oleh Gubernur Babel Erzaldi Rosman, di Hotel Novotel Pangkalpinang, Selasa (19/4/22).
Hal ini sesuai dengan amanah Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) No. 7 Tahun 2021 tentang Percepatan Penurunan Stunting, di mana Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) mendapat mandat untuk menurunkan angka stunting di Indonesia dari 27,67% (2019) menjadi 24,4% pada tahun 2021. Di Babel, angka prevalensi stunting menurun sebanyak 1,33% dari 19,93% pada tahun 2019 menjadi 18,6% pada tahun 2021.
“Satu hal yang harus kita ingat jika ingin mengatasi masalah penurunan stunting di Bangka Belitung, yaitu tidak boleh terjadi lagi adanya pertumbuhan. Artinya, stunting harus berada pada tataran zero. Jadi, jangan bekerja setengah-setengah, tapi lakukan dengan totalitas,” jelas Wakil Gubernur Babel Abdul Fatah dalam sambutannya sebagai Ketua TPPS.
Wagub Abdul Fatah juga mengatakan perlunya melakukan pola preventif dan juga promotif sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting. Misalnya, adanya undang-undang perkawinan yang mengatur usia perkawinan, atau program pembangunan keluarga berencana di mana usia perkawinan ideal adalah 25 tahun untuk pria dan 21 tahun untuk wanita, yang merupakan salah satu usaha preventif. Sedangkan pola promotif, salah satunya dengan melakukan promosi dan edukasi kepada setiap calon pengantin yang akan menikah.
Untuk itu, perlu dibentuk tim TPPS yang bertugas mengoordinasikan, mensinergikan, dan mengevaluasi penyelenggaraan percepatan penurunan stunting secara efektif, konvergen dan terintegrasi dengan melibatkan lintas sektor terkait, di setiap tingkatan wilayah mulai dari pusat, provinsi, kabupaten/kota, hingga tingkat desa.
“Harapan kami, TPPS ini dapat berperan secara efektif, konvergen dan terintegrasi, melalui penajaman strategi intervensi dari hulu melalui kegiatan prioritas mencegah lahirnya anak stunting, mengoptimalkan peran tim pendamping keluarga yang sudah terbentuk sebanyak 1.050 tim Provinsi Babel untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada calon pengantin, ibu hamil, ibu pasca melahirkan, ibu menyusui dan keluarga yang mempunyai anak usia 0-5 tahun, dan mewujudkan Indonesia emas yaitu membentuk keluarga muda yang sehat, produktif, dan berketahanan keluarga secara utuh dengan memanfaatkan bonus demografi,” papar wagub.
Selain itu, apresiasi luar biasa diberikan Wagub Abdul Fatah kepada seluruh pihak yang sudah membantu terbentuknya TPPS, sehingga Babel menjadi provinsi dengan capaian pembentukan TPPS tercepat di Indonesia setelah Provinsi Bali.
Diketahui, Babel telah 100% membentuk TPPS tingkat provinsi yang diketuai oleh Wagub Babel dan selanjutnya membentuk TPPS di tujuh kabupaten/kota, 47 TPPS Kecamatan, dan 396 TPS desa/kelurahan. Jadi, Provinsi Babel masuk dalam 2 besar provinsi tercepat dalam pembentukan tim percepatan penurunan stunting.
Hadir dalam Rekonsiliasi, Sekretaris Utama Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) RI, unsur Forkopimda Babel, Pimpinan Instansi Vertikal Babel, Kepala Perangkat Daerah di lingkungan Babel, dan unsur terkait lainnya. (dini)
