TANJUNGPANDAN – Tim Penggerak (TP) PKK Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Kep. Babel) terus bergerak menyosialisasikan pendidikan gizi bagi kader pengelola program Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) berbasis pangan lokal bagi anak stunting dan ibu hamil/menyusui/kekurangan energi kronis (KEK).
Sosialisasi dan orientasi yang berlangsung di kantor Bappeda Kabupaten Belitung, Senin (6/05/2024) ini dihadiri langsung oleh Pj Ketua TP PKK Babel Safriati Safrizal, dan para peserta yang merupakan kader TP PKK Belitung dan Belitung Timur.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Safriati menekankan bahwa masalah gizi sangatlah penting untuk kehidupan manusia yang dimulai sejak 1000 hari pertama kehidupan. Saat ini Indonesia menghadapi masalah gizi yaitu anak stunting dan ibu hamil dengan KEK, dan melihat data Elektronik Pencatatan dan Pelaporan Gizi Berbasis Masyarakat (e-PPGBM ) online 1-29 februari 2024 bahwasanya Belitung dan Beltim memiliki angka yang cukup tinggi.
“Oleh sebab itu, kami ingin menurunkan angka tersebut melalui program PMT bagi anak stunting dan bumil KEK di lima kecamatan untuk Pulau Belitung,” tuturnya.
Ia menjelaskan, program ini disalurkan ke dua Kecamatan di Beltim yakni Kecamatan Gantung dengan lokus Desa Selinsing dan Kecamatan Simpang Renggiang di Desa Aik Madu, Desa Lintang, Desa Simpang Tiga dan Desa Renggiang.
Untuk Belitung ada tiga kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Sijuk lokus Desa Pelepak Puteh, Desa Sijuk, Desa Air Seru. Kecamatan Tanjungpandan lokus desa Juru Seberang dan Kelurahan Pangkallalang dan Kecamatan Membalong Desa Lassar.
“Sebelum dilaksanakannya PMT selama 20 hari berturut-turut, perlu diadakannya sosialisasi dan orientasi pendidikan gizi bagi kader pengelola PMT yang berbasis bahan pangan lokal,” jelasnya.
Ia berharap, kegiatan ini nantinya bagi para kader pengelola PMT dapat juga memberikan edukasi kepada para orang tua anak anak kita yang stunting dan para ibu hamil KEK dalam penyusunan menu yang variatif dengan menggunakan bahan bahan pangan lokal, sehingga selesai kegiatan PMT ini, mereka dapat mengaplikasikannya dalam penyusunan menu keluarga.
“Semoga kasus anak stunting dan ibu hamil KEK di Babel terutama Pulau Belitung dapat turun bahkan sampai di angka nol, aamiin,” harapnya. (***)
