PANGKALPINANG – Korem 045 Garuda Jaya bekerjasama dengan Perhimpunan Indonesia Tionghoa (INTI), menggelar operasi katarak gratis di Rumah Sakit Kalbu Intan Medika dan Hotel Bangka City, Pangkalpinang, Sabtu (10/6/2023).
Kegiatan operasi katarak gratis dalam rangka memperingati HUT Ke-13 Korem 045 Garuda Jaya diikuti 360 pasien, baru 139 orang selesai menjalani operasi.
Kegiatan kemanusiaan tersebut dibuka langsung oleh Danrem 045 Garuda Jaya, Brigjen TNI A. Dedy Prasetyo.
Danrem Brigjen TNI A. Dedy Prasetyo dalam sambutannya mengucapkan terima kasih dan memberikan apresiasi kepada semua pihak sehingga operasi Katarak Gratis ini bisa terlaksana.
Danrem menjelaskan keberadaan manusia tidak terlepas dari manusia lainnya. Bantuan dan dorongan antar sesama sangatlah penting dalam menjalani kehidupan secara normal untuk mencapai tujuan hidup.
“Atas dasar itulah operasi katarak gratis ini dilaksanakan untuk menumbuhkan rasa senasib sepenanggungan dan semangat kekeluargaan diantara sesama anak bangsa di wilayah ini,”ujar Danrem.
Harapan Danrem agar kegiatan ini dijadikan sebagai wujud nyata kepedulian terhadap sesama sebagai landasan dalam meningkatkan kepedulian bidang kehidupan untuk sesama.
Hadir dalam acara tersebut Kasrem Kolonel Inf Parluhutan Marpaung, Wakil Ketua Umum Perhimpunan INTI Robert Njo, Dirut RS KIM Tan Candra, Perwakilan BRI, Brigjen Purn Wing Handoko mewakili Dirut PT Timah.
Selain itu Kadinkes Provinsi Andri Nurtito, Dandim ,0413/Bangka, Dandim 0431/Babar, Dandim 0432/Basel, Danyoniif 147/KGJ dan hadirin lainnya. (***)
