JAKARTA – Menteri Koordinator Politik Hukum dan Keamanan (Menkopolhukam), Mahfud MD mengatakan sektor pertambangan dapat membiayai 20 juta orang tiap bulan termasuk anak – anak. Belum lagi dari sektor Kehutanan, perikanan dan Pertanian.
Hal ini tentunya dapat terwujud jika celah-celah korupsi di sektor pertambangan dapat diberantas.
Hal ini disampaikan mantan Ketua Mahkamah Konstitusi tersebut dalam acara sarasehan dengan tema ‘Sinkronisasi Tata Kelola Pertambangan Mineral Utama Perspektif Politik, Hukum dan Keamanan di Hotel Grand Sahid Jaya, Jakarta Pusat, Selasa (21/03/2023).
“Itu baru pertambangan. Belum kehutanan, belum perikanan, belum pertanian,” tutur Mahfud MD mengutip perkataan mantan Ketua KPK Abraham Samad.
“Saudara noleh ke mana saja ada korupsi kok. Noleh ke hutan, ada korupsi di hutan, noleh ke udara, ada korupsi Garuda, asuransi dan koperasi,” ujar Mahfud.
Untuk itu ia pun meminta agar seluruh pemangku kepentingan bersinergi dan berkolaborasi menghilangkan ego sektoral demi menyelesaikan problematika pertambangan.
Sarasehan tersebut dihadiri oleh Ketua DPRD Bangka Belitung Herman Suhadi, Kapolda Bangka Belitung Irjen Pol Yan Sultra Indrajaya dan pejabat lainnya di lingkungan Pemprov Bangka Belitung.
Ketua DPRD Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Kep. Babel) H. Herman Suhadi, S. Sos mendukung pemerintah pusat bahwa sektor pertambangan sejatinya dapat memberikan kemakmuran dan kesejahteraan kepada masyarakat.
“Tentunya kita ingin pertambangan dalam hal ini timah dapat dikelola dan memberikan kesejahteraan dan kemakmuran bagi masyarakat, terkhusus masyarakat Kep. Babel,” ujar Herman. (**)
