BANGKA – YS (20) tersangka pembunuhan terhadap Agung Maulana (19) warga Kampung Nelayan II di tempat hiburan malam (THM) Cafe Dragon Sungailiat Kabupaten Bangka dikabarkan tidak ditahan lagi.
Polisi melakukan penanguhan atas dasar batas waktu penahanan dan perpanjangan penahanan dari Kejaksaan telah habis.
“Penangguhan diberikan karena batas waktu penahanan di Kepolisian dan perpanjangan dari Kejaksaan telah habis waktunya, maka diberikan penangguhan penahanan,”ujar Kapolres Bangka AKBP Indra Kurniawan di konfirmasi wartawan melalui pesan WhatsApp, Jumat (16/9/2022), siang.
Indra menjelaskan saat ini proses perkara masih memenuhi data dan bukti terkait peristiwa yang menghabisi nyawa warga korban. Indra berharap pekan depan perkara tersebut sudah bisa P21 ke Kejaksaan.
“Setelah dipenuhi data dan bukti yang kurang serta koordinasi dengan pihak Kejaksaan Kabupaten Bangka, maka Insya Allah kasus tersebut (bisa) P21 minggu depan,”kata Indra.
Sementara Kepala Lingkungan Nelayan II Sungailiat, Syarifuddin menilai pemberian penangguhan penahanan terhadap tersangka YS dinilai kurang pantas.
“Saya belum tau jika ternyata pelaku pembunuhan warga kami kemaren mendapatkan penangguhan penahanan. Hanya saja, jika sesuai dengan hukum, tidak pantas lah jika ternyata pelaku tersebut diberikan penangguhan. Itu tidak pantas. Lagi pula kok sudah selama ini belum selesai-selesai perkara ini,”tegasnya.
Kasus pembunuhan terjadi di Cafe Dragon 99 mengakibatkan Agung Maulana (19) Warga Nelayan II, Sungailiat tewas bersimbah darah, Minggu (30/1/2022). Bagian tubuh korban terdapat luka tusuk mengunakan obeng.
Polisi kemudian melakukan penyelidikan dan meminta keterangan sejumlah saksi, namun baru di bulan April 2022 polisi mengamankan terduga tersangka YS, Jumat (1/4/2022).
Kepada pihak kepolisian sendiri YS mengaku bahwa dirinya melakukan penusukan terhadap korban dalam kondisi mabuk.
Peristiwa ini sendiri sempat memanas hingga Polres Bangka didatangi oleh Kaling dan warga Nelayan II Sungailiat.
Mereka bahkan sempat mendesak pihak kepolisian untuk menutup tempat hiburan malam Cafe Dragon tersebut.
Sementara hingga berita ini di publis suarabangka.com masih dalam upaya konfirmasi sejumlah pihak – pihak terkait. (***)
